South Korean Client Witnesses Operation of Aluminum Can Carbonization Decoating Equipment

Recently, SUNYGROUP welcomed a client from South Korea. The visit was intended for an on-site inspection and evaluation of SUNYGROUP’s proprietary aluminum can carbonization and de-coating equipment. In the field of aluminum scrap recycling, the ability to efficiently and eco-friendly remove paint layers and organic matter from can surfaces—while minimizing energy consumption—has long been a critical factor for companies seeking to enhance the quality of recycled aluminum.

To provide the client with a firsthand look at the equipment's technical advantages, the technical team started up the machine on-site and conducted a live test using used aluminum cans:

The UBC carbonization furnace operates in a sealed, high-temperature, oxygen-free environment. The client observed how the carbonization process precisely pyrolyzed the surface paint and organic coatings while leaving the core aluminum material intact, achieving virtually zero metal loss. Upon exiting the discharge port, the aluminum cans had been completely stripped of their original paint, revealing a clean, high-purity metallic finish.

Following the visit, the South Korean client spoke highly of the carbonization furnace’s fully automated control system, extremely low metal burn-off rate, and excellent energy efficiency, expressing a strong interest in collaborating with SUNYGROUP.
