The scrap refrigerator recycling system is an automated production line that encompasses dismantling, shredding, sorting, and environmentally safe processing. The primary function of this equipment is to separate and recover valuable materials found within refrigerators—specifically scrap iron, copper, aluminum, plastics, and polyurethane foam. The core components of the system include a shredder, a hammer mill, and magnetic and eddy current separation systems; it is also typically integrated with a refrigerant recovery unit.
Core Components and Process Flow of the Scrap Refrigerator Recycling System:
Pre-processing Station: Initially, manual labor is employed to dismantle and remove plastic components, electrical wiring, and circuit boards. Subsequently, specialized equipment is utilized to extract the refrigerant (such as Freon) and compressor oil contained within the compressor unit.
Shredding System: A large-scale shredder is used to perform the initial coarse shredding of the refrigerator cabinets, after which the material is further pulverized by a hammer mill.
Separation System:
