Application of aluminum plastic separation equipment

In the recycling industry, the most frequently asked question is: "Can this machine process my specific material?" Aluminum-plastic composites are ubiquitous, but their thickness, composition, and bond strength vary greatly. SUNYGROUP has extensive experience and equipment in the aluminum-plastic recycling industry, capable of processing and recycling various aluminum-plastic composites.

The following are raw materials that SUNYGROUP's aluminum-plastic separation equipment can effectively process:

1. Medical Blister Packaging (PTP)

Medical waste is one of the most valuable raw materials. These packages are made of high-purity aluminum foil bonded to PVC or PVDC. Due to their relatively high aluminum content, their recycling value is very high. The machine's crushing and electrostatic systems achieve 99% purity, converting medical waste into high-purity aluminum powder and clean plastic granules.

2. Aluminum-Plastic Composite Panels (ACP)

Aluminum-plastic composite panels are commonly used in construction and signage, and their thickness and strength are far superior to packaging materials. They consist of a polyethylene (PE) core sandwiched between two thin aluminum films. The separation line requires a specialized heavy-duty crusher to break down the plastic core material, followed by an electrostatic separation stage to separate the metal from the plastic core.

3. Flexible Packaging and Aluminum Foil Bags

These products include food packaging, coffee bags, and vacuum-sealed bags. These materials are typically very thin and may contain multiple layers of PET or PE. Advanced separation equipment uses fine grinding technology to ensure that even the thinnest aluminum foil can be peeled off the plastic film.

4. Consumer Goods Bags

Examples include toothpaste tubes, milk cartons (Tetra Pak), and even certain types of automotive trim. Due to their complex adhesive structure, these items were once considered "non-recyclable." However, modern dry physical separation technology can break down these adhesive structures without water or chemicals, making the process both economical and environmentally friendly.
